Our thoughts are with the family of Paul Ducan, an off-duty NYPD detective who was killed last week when he was struck, head on by a wrong-way driver.
Duncan was driving on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester at 4 a.m when he was struck. The impact was so strong that the car flew over the guardrail upon impact and landed in a snowbank below.
Police are investigating if the other driver was intoxicated at the time of the motor vehicle crash.
