Karen O’Brien was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1993. She joined the firm that same year and has been an advocate for disabled workers ever since. Karen specializes in Workers’ Compensation and has successfully represented countless injured workers in connection with their claims for benefits. She now concentrates on the settlement of Workers’ Compensation cases.
Throughout the course of her career, Karen has had the opportunity to speak at union conferences and to educate working people of their rights when an on the job accident occurs. She is a member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association. Karen served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association from May of 2012 to May of 2014.
Karen received a B.A. from George Washington University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She went on to receive her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
