A Yonkers apartment owner never did any repair work to their parking lot. Over time the pavement got worse and worse. Eventually, the whole parking lot was like a mine field. One day a tenant was trying to get to her car when the broken up pavement caused her to trip and fall. She badly broke her ankle, but thankfully did not need any surgery. The case was settled before trial in Westchester Court for $275,000.
